Free workshop for Kent Charities
From 3-5 September 2019, the Operational Research Society holds its annual conference at Kent Business School, University of Kent. Operational research (OR) is a scientific approach to the solution of problems in the management of complex systems that enables decision makers to make better decisions. OR is used by organisations of all sizes, including businesses across all industry sectors, government and other public sector bodies, charities, communities and even individuals. OR helps inform strategic, tactical and operational decisions as well as assisting in the design of public policy.
On Wednesday the 4th of September from 10:30 – 12:30hrs, the ORS is organising a free workshop for all Kent charities who wish to hear more about the ORS pro bono support scheme to charities. The work shop is followed by a free lunch from 12:30 -13:30hrs, where attendees have the chance to network with each other and with members of the ORS.
Kent charities interested in attending should send an email to Amy Hughes: Amy.email@example.com.
