Kent Charity Awards deadline date extended
The sponsors of the Kent Charity Awards have announced an extension to the deadline for entries until 12th April 2021; this will give even more charities, trustees and volunteers a chance to enter and gain much-deserved recognition for the incredible work they do. We know that many charities are struggling at the moment and with staff being stretched to the limit it is only fair that more time is given to prepare your entry.
The Gala Evening will now take place, either face to face if restrictions allow, or virtually in early September.
Chairman of Judges, Susan Robinson from Kreston Reeves said, “The Judges are pleased to be involved in the Kent Charity Awards for 2021. It is wonderful to have the opportunity to say well done and THANK YOU for the hard work that often goes on under the radar. Without this sector society would be a poorer place and we need to acknowledge their positive impact. We look forward to receiving lots of entries”.
Entering the Awards is a great way for good causes to gain exposure, increase stakeholder funding, build collaborations with other charities and can also be great for staff morale. In an area where people often work tirelessly to help make the lives of others better, receiving extra recognition can really make a difference and be a tremendous boost.
The Kent Charity Awards are sponsored by: The KM Media Group, Kreston Reeves, Kent County Council, Medway Council, Diggerland, CC Works, Kent Community Foundation, CAF Bank, Brachers, Financial Advice & Services and AMEY.
The awards are free to enter and entries will continue to be mentioned in the KM Group Newspaper
