The sponsors and organisers of the Kent Charity Awards (KCAs) are delighted to announce the launch of the 2026 awards, celebrating the outstanding contributions of Kent’s charity sector.

The KCAs continue to shine a spotlight on the remarkable work of Kent’s charities, volunteers, and trustees. Entry is open to both large and small charities based in Kent, as well as nationwide charities that deliver high-quality services in the county. Finalists will be invited to a prestigious awards ceremony in September.

Alongside charity entries, individuals can nominate a trustee or volunteer for an award. These two prestigious awards celebrate the dedication and invaluable contributions of volunteers in the county. Thousands of volunteers in Kent deserve recognition for their tireless commitment to their charity, and now is the time to help them receive the appreciation they deserve.  You can nominate them via the online entry form at https://kentcharityawards.com/trustee-or-volunteer-nomination-form/

Susan Robinson, Head Judge and partner at Kreston Reeves, said, The Kent Charity Awards showcase the incredible work the sector does in the county of Kent. It is an opportunity to say well done and thank you. It provides a platform for the finalists to highlight their work. The judges look forward to reading the many great applications.”

There are countless reasons to enter the Kent Charity Awards.  Last year’s Overall Winner, Maidstone-based Heart of Kent Hospice, said, Winning Kent Charity of the Year felt like a warm embrace from our community. It was a powerful reminder that the care we provide and the compassion shown every day by our colleagues and volunteers truly matter. The award gave us a moment to pause, feel proud, and thank the many supporters who stand beside us. More than recognition, it was a shared celebration of everyone who helps make hospice care possible.”

Entries and nominations must be submitted by Friday, May 8th 2026. The judges will carefully review each submission and create a shortlist. They will then visit each finalist for further evaluation, allowing the charity to explain more about its work.
